You enter the gîte through the kitchen like friends and neighbours used to in days of old. The space for conviviality and transition, the room combines multiple functions and can be used according to your needs and wishes.

Today, we eat out

In that instance the kitchen disappears, becomes discreet: the doors shut, without handles, create a uniform surface in « zebrano » wood, you hardly notice the inbuilt oven. The electric hob disappears in the vast central island. This “day” position is sober and beautiful.

Tonight, the caterer comes

You don’t want to go out, but don’t feel like cooking either…then take away is the answer. Very good idea: there are several caterers nearby. And the kitchen reveals some of  her advantages: the oven has a « reheat » program, very precise depending on the type of food and its weight, and another program to heat the plates….the induction hob can reach and maintain automatically temperature of 42,70 or 90°c.you can thus avoid spillages or burning .Easy and practical.

Offering an aperitif

For you or with friends, the kitchen becomes a space to entertain. Your guests will sit on high stools and the central island becomes a bar. The drinks are kept cool just behind you. And you can take advantage of the equipment to prepare a few tapas and impress your guests.

Top chef !

Cooking some simple dish or some grand “cuisine”? Then the kitchen opens up its doors, have fun! If you‘re looking for inspiration, a recipe book especially designed to use the combined  oven “Miele” is available, with a choice of hors d’oeuvres, main dishes, puddings,….
And if you prefer to engage a professional chef, he will be pleased to benefit from such space and equipment.

The gîte is equipped with a washing machine combined with a modern tumble dryer which takes care of all your clothes.

Washing

In addition to the classic cottons, synthetics, delicates and wool programmes, the additional programmes anti-allergy, sportswear, outdoor and denim allow you to cope with any situation. A short and gentle steam cycle is available to refresh clothes that do not need to be washed.

Suitable washing powder & liquid detergents are available on site.

Drying

3 drying modes can be selected in the machine:

• the "NonStop 60min" programme to wash and dry mixed fabrics weighing up to 1 kg in one go in one hour
• Automatic drying, adapted to each type of fabric, for a dryness level of Extra dry, Cupboard dry or Iron dry
• Timed drying for even more precise results depending on the laundry load (weight)

Naturally, drying clothes on the clothes-horse is a simple alternative that does not wear out the clothes.

An ironing board and iron are available.
